After the one-two punch of the industrial-sounding # and the hype of So What, the rest seem almost like filler. I know that the other tracks (including Day & Night, yes I bought the physical limited edition) are mostly really good songs, but I only really enjoy them if I listen to them outside the context of the album. #, for me, is entirely too front-loaded on the aggression so that it feels like it completely runs out of energy after just two tracks. I think I prefer albums that either have a cohesive theme throughout (like X X did), or if they are the type to mix up genres (which is fine) they put a lot of thought into the track order of the mix so that it has its own flow of highs and lows in terms of energy. It certainly has some pretty good songs, but it seems a bit too "all over the place" for my tastes.
